Company Overview: Qwest was formed in 1997, and
currently has over 50,000 employees across the U.S. They
had a profit of over $500 million in 2006. They offer
many digital communication services to consumers, and
pride themselves on ethics, integrity, and community
involvement.
Our Review: Most of their "about" section is about what
they do for the community and what they stand for,
rather than their history and financial background...
Regardless, they do offer some great services, and a
great customer support section. Definitely worth
checking out, as they're obviously not going to pressure
you into buying anything you don't want.
User Review: I work from home, and as such needed to get
VOIP phone service, along with a good internet company.
I searched on the internet, and found Qwest. They're a
great company; they were so friendly helping me set up
my service. Plus, their prices are great!

is a subsidiary of America Movil, who is the largest
cell phone company in America. They have over 140
million phone service subscribers. They attribute their
success to their exclusive focus on prepaid phones,
unlike many companies who give consumers the option of
prepaid versus contract phones.
Our Review: If you need a phone, but can't afford the
hassle of a contract, TracFone is a great company. They
let you buy minutes when you need them, and only require
you to add minutes every 90 days if you don't do it more
often than that. It's all about the ease of use for the
customer, and we love that. A great prepaid wireless
company.
User Review: My kids were hassling me to get a cell
phone, but at my age I didn't think I'd be able to
figure out how to use one. They got me a TracFone for
Christmas, and I love it, because I just get the minutes
I need, and adding them is so simple. Plus their
customer service is amazing; they helped me out when I
first got my phone. Now I use my cell phone all the
time, and I love it, thanks to TracFone! |

Our Review: VOIP is a great service to consumers because
of its affordability and its use of existing services.
As long as you have high speed internet, you can get
VOIP with unlimited calling for around $20 a month.
Lingo, specifically, has a very informative website and
helpful customer service to explain their programs and
offer technical support to consumers. This is a great
company if you're considering getting Internet based
phone service.

landline phone service or high speed internet. They've
got a great customer service section, and their website
is informative and easy to use.

and I can call them anytime I want now, and it's
affordable. Plus, I got internet service so I can e-mail
them too. They're a great company, and have great
